Price a part

Price a 3D printed part yourself: set the material, the weight and the print time for one part, and the quantity. The estimate updates as you type, with Wisconsin sales tax on its own line. A written quote sets the final price.

The calculator

Materials marked “ordered per job” are bought for your job and printed on the enclosed printer.

Slice the part in any slicer and read the filament weight and print time it reports for one part. No slicer? Send me the file or the idea instead.
Finishing
Advanced: parts that fit on one plate
per plate
Small parts can print several at a time. Leave it at 1 if you are not sure; I check it when I quote.

Your estimate

This is an estimate from the numbers you entered. Nothing you type here is sent anywhere unless you choose “Send this to me” and then send the form.

Before you send a file

Thin walls survive the slicer and fail on the bed.

  • Minimum wall thickness 1.2 mm.
  • Minimum feature size 0.8 mm on a 0.4 mm nozzle.
  • The usable build area is smaller than the bed, so a part near the size limit is confirmed against your file, not promised here.
